What is SafeStride?

A boot-mounted LED safety light designed to improve firefighter visibility in the most dangerous conditions.

The Problem - Firefighters face deadly visibility issues

Firefighters operate in smoke-filled structures, dark roadways, and chaotic scenes where visibility can mean the difference between life and death. Traditional lighting doesn’t account for movement, angles, or limited line-of-sight. With over 500 roadside fatalities in the past five years caused by responders not being seen, it’s clear the current solution isn’t enough.

Why Boot Level?

Most firefighter lighting is placed high on the body. In smoke, traffic, or low-angle lighting, that can limit visibility from certain perspectives.

Current methods only really shine foreward and down, nothing behind except reflective tape. Which says it in the name, reflective, not active lighting
